Lie in savasana pose, aka “corpse pose” for 5 to 10 minutes.
Savasana is a fancy yoga word that basically means lying on your back, hands by your side with palms facing up, eyes closed, & letting all your muscles relax. You can try it with music in the background, in pure silence, or just listening to the nature sounds outside your window. For the full effect, cover up with a blanket or place a pillow under your knees.
Try laying in savasana pose when your mind is racing or you feel stressed out/ overwhelmed. Give your body a chance to slow down and your mind/ breath will follow. You’ll come out of it feel deeply rested, totally nurtured, & glowing instead of stressing.
Thanks for reading this slow down tip!
